Sailings from the Novigrad area are considered to be the most tender in the Mediterranean, and Premantura sea spiders are well worth the journey for gourmets from all over the world. Incidentally, these crabs are just as Calamari, in winter high season. In the Limski Fjord near Vrsar, fleshy-elegant oysters and excellent clams can be washed down by fresh and sea water and are served freshly picked on the plates.

It's amazing what local fishermen from the depths of the sea carry onto the deck and into the cooking pots: sea bass, sea bream, scorpionfish, sardines, calamari, wild oysters, sweet scampi and many other specialties that taste of the sea. Every morning and evening you can admire the freshest catch in the harbors and watch the fishermen mending their nets.
